A Good Question?

Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to my very first blog post. Not just my first blog post for this class, but my first one ever, so bare with me through the inevitable suckiness that is my blog.
Any who, my name is Larry Collins. Some call me Laurence, some call me Larry, and some call me names which cannot be posted here. I am a 21 year-old college student that at this point in the game has a hard trouble of answering the question of Who am I? I'm kind of at a point where I am trying to figure that out. Best I can tell is that I am a pretty average guy. I had the usual childhood stuff; friends, family, girlfriend, the whole nine yards.I like to play sports and video games; the usual guy stuff. I am a huge professional wrestling fan despite the many verbal lashings I receive from critics who know nothing other than how to be really critical. I'm pretty much like a mini wrestling encyclopedia to most of my friends and I've always wanted to get involved with that profession, not the in-ring stuff so much because the good lord didn't see fit to bless me with a whole lotta size. Its always been a dream and it's definitely something I'll never stop loving.
I'm on the media circuit at Hunter and to be honest, the only reason I picked Media is because it was the furthest thing away from math and science in my eyes. But, I have learned some pretty interesting stuff along the way. My hope career-wise is that one day I can find something that won't make me miserable to go to everyday. I was always told that a job isn't worth doing unless you can do it with a smile on your face.

  1. Wrestling. That will be an interesting addition to our discussions.

  2. Being a person who has had and looked for jobs based on the money and little else in the past, I can tell you first hand that being happy in your future career is so important and totally worth the many hours of school we have to endure. Good luck!
