"Club Gaze"

Since we learned about the "Male Gaze", I had begun to see its relevance in everything- even when I was out at the club. So, for my project I made a VLOG about what I had been seeing, and included interviews of people. The men in the interviews gave me their perceptions of men and women at the club- from what they wear, how they act and why they go in the first place. What I got was proof that the male gaze is relevant at all times, not just in media.

Ah! Just realized I uploaded the wrong file. I'm pretty sure I gave you the dvd I burned first with the wrong file too. It should be fixed now.

Choose and research a female film director/screenwriter and a single work or several works. Describe their approach to film making and explain their role as auteur. Using references to the readings and references to your own research (be sure to cite) explain the work, especially as it relates to auteur theory.
